Cerro Frías Zipline is a half-day excursion in the El Calafate area where you enjoy a 2000 m zipline (canopy) divided into 4 sections of 500 m that run across Cerro Frías, descending in a zig-zag from the summit to the base with views of the Patagonian steppe and the Andes Range.

Cerro Frías is located near El Calafate, on the way to the Perito Moreno Glacier and, since it is not part of the Andes Range, it lets you take in panoramic views of the Torres del Paine, Cerro Fitz Roy, the Cordón de los Cristales, the Brazo Rico, the Brazo Norte and the main body of Lago Argentino, the Boca del Diablo and the Magallanes and Avellaneda peninsulas.

The excursion begins when you are picked up at your hotel in El Calafate and the 25 km drive to Cerro Frías gets underway. There, from the Hostería Eolo, a 4x4 ride begins up the hillside until reaching the first platform, where the zipline starts.

From there the zipline descent begins, assisted by the guides at each of the platforms. The full run is divided into 4 sections of 500 m that let you enjoy maximum adrenaline as you reach high speeds, surrounded by unique Patagonian scenery.

When you reach the base of the hill you will have free time at the lodge, where the included lunch (morning session) or snack (afternoon session) is served. Once the outing is over, the return to the town of El Calafate and your hotel gets underway.
