The End of the World Train is the southernmost tourist railway on the planet and a true historical gem of Ushuaia. It travels 7 km of the old Prisoners' Train route, which between 1901 and 1941 carried prison inmates to the forests where they cut the timber used to heat the town.
The ride lasts approximately 2 hours in comfortable panoramic carriages. The station houses a museum about the origins of southern settlement, and along the way there is a 15-minute stop at Macarena Station, with a view of a waterfall and a reconstruction of a Yámana camp.
You can add hotel pickup, which includes a guide and the tour of the scenic viewpoints of Tierra del Fuego National Park (Ensenada Bay, Lake Acigami and Lapataia Bay). Low difficulty, suitable for all ages.
Times and order may vary depending on the day's organization and weather conditions.
Before booking, read our guides to plan Ushuaia and the rest of your trip.
