On Day 1 you start with the visit to the Perito Moreno Glacier: transfer from your hotel in El Calafate, a free walk along the panoramic walkways and — if you choose it — a boat ride in front of the imposing 60-meter-high ice wall. One of the most impressive natural wonders in the world.
On Day 2 you travel to El Chaltén, the trekking capital of Argentina, at the foot of the legendary Cerro Fitz Roy. Your professional guide takes you along the trail to the Lago del Desierto viewpoint or the Laguna Capri viewpoint, with the spires of Fitz Roy as the backdrop. And lunch in El Chaltén is included.

Everything you need to know
It is 2 full days. On Day 1 you visit the Perito Moreno Glacier with walkways (approx. 8 h). On Day 2 you travel to El Chaltén with a guide and lunch included (approx. 12 h).
It is not required. You can do each day on separate dates according to your stay. We coordinate with you on WhatsApp to pick the dates that suit you best.
Yes. Lunch in El Chaltén is included in the Day 2 price. On Day 1 at the Glacier we recommend bringing a packed lunch to eat on the walkways.
Infants from 0 to 2 years go free. Children from 3 to 10 years pay the child price. Day 1 (walkways) is suitable for all ages. For Day 2 (trekking), the guide adapts the route to the group.
Approximately 3 hours from El Calafate along National Route 40. The drive itself is already an experience: the Patagonian steppe and the lagoons are stunning.
Perito Moreno operates in rain and wind. El Chaltén has unpredictable weather; if there are extreme conditions that prevent the trek, the guide offers alternatives. Weather cancellations are rare.
