Beagle Channel:
Darwin's channel

The Beagle Channel Cruise is the most iconic excursion in Ushuaia. The same channel explored by HMS Beagle in 1833, with Charles Darwin aboard, is still one of the most breathtaking landscapes on the planet: snow-capped mountains on both sides, dark waters and unique wildlife.

In 3 hours you visit the most photographed spots in Ushuaia: Bird Island with its colonies of imperial cormorants, Sea Lion Island with hundreds of sea lions, and the Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse — popularly known as the "Lighthouse at the End of the World", although the real lighthouse from Jules Verne's novel stands on Isla de los Estados (Staten Island).

There are two departures per day (10:00 and 15:00). The afternoon departure has better light for photos. The excursion does NOT include transfer: passengers make their own way to the Ushuaia tourist port 30 minutes early.

It is suitable for all ages. No special physical effort is required. We operate in wind and rain — trips are only canceled during storms that prevent safe navigation.
